There are many national parks spread all over the United States that are truly worth visiting. One that always belongs to travelers’ itineraries is the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It holds the distinction of being the first ever national park in the US, created in 1872 after then-President Ulysses S. Grant signed it into law.
This park is famous all over the world for its diverse wildlife as well as its countless geothermal features like the Old Faithful Geyser. It also abounds in the various types of ecosystems particularly the subalpine forest. Apart from natural features, the park is also home to over 1,000 archaeological sites.
