Wollaton Hall is a country house built in the 1580s that can be found in the Wollaton Park in Nottingham, England. It houses both the Nottingham Natural History Museum and the Nottingham Industrial Museum. In the park, you’ll find a herd of deer, which will prove to be an extraordinary sight. The park is also commonly used as venue for sporting events, festivals and rock concerts.
The house was built by Sir Francis Willoughby and designed by Robert Smythson between 1580 and 1588. It has become known for being an “architectural sensation of its age”.
