The ancient sculptures in the Nambung National Park in Perth, Australia never fail to astound visitors. These weathered rock spires stand on the sand dunes along the picturesque coastline of the Indian Ocean. Scattered all around the desert, the pillars create a strange “alien-like” landscape. These are made with limestone, formed millions of years ago.
While you’re here, it’s a great idea to go on a side trip to Cervantes, a quaint but charming local fishing village, which will impress you with its powdery white beaches and corals reefs. It also has the beautiful Lake Thetis that abounds in colorful marine life.
