There are many mind-boggling structures all over the world. And one that you should absolutely visit is the Atomium in Brussels.
The original purpose of the building was for the Expo 58, a Brussels World’s Fair in 1958. It was designed by architects Andre and Jean Polak and engineer Andre Waterkeyn. Towering at 102 meters or 335 feet tall, the building is composed of spheres made of stainless steels connected to one central structure to resemble the shape of a unit cell.
Right now, this is one of the most photographed and visited landmark in Brussels. It now serves as a museum.
