Sahara Desert Animals in Algeria

You probably know that Sahara Desert is the largest hot desert in the world, measuring 3.6 million square miles, and covering major parts of Libya, Morocco, Niger, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Chat, Egypt, Mali, Mauritania, and Western Sahara. At the western edge is the Atlantic Ocean, north are the Atlas Mountains, east is the Red Sea, and south are Sudan and Niger River. It is divided into various sections including: Western Sahara, Central Hoggar Mountains, Air Mountains, Libyan Desert, and Tibesti Mountains.

The Sahara also happens to have one of the “harshest environments.” There are hurricanes and sandstorms, and a temperature that would surely make you feel like you’re inside the oven.
