The facade will take you aback, that’s for sure. But this isn’t the only fascinating thing about this museum. Once you get inside, you’ll get to see an extensive collection of artifacts and ancient objects that will allow you to get to know more about the rich history of American Indians in the United States.
The National Museum of the American Indian was built to commemorate the life, culture, history, arts, languages and literature of the Native Americans. This was established back in 1916 but it only became part of the Smithsonian Institution in 1990.
