California doesn’t fall short on interesting attractions that will keep travelers engaged. One that you can’t miss if you’re traveling here is the Lava Beds National Monument, which is situated in the northeastern part of the state, particularly in the Modoc and Siskiyou counties. The Medicine Lake Volcano is nestled within the park.
There are several lava tube caves inside the national monument. Many of these are open for public access. Unless you’re a claustrophobic, you’re going to have the time of your life visiting one of these lava tube caves.
