Gifted with rich natural landscapes and colorful history, the Isle of Skye is definitely a place worth visiting during your vacation in Scotland. Spanning 50 miles long, it is the biggest of the Inner Hebrides. Its capital Portree is bustling with lots of tourist attractions. Some of the most charming villages to visit include Uig, Staff, Edinbane, Broadford, Elgol and Armadale.

From the dinosaur fossils to the notorious Bonnie Prince Charlie and the historic Jacobite Rebellion, the place has many interesting stories to tell. But that’s not all. It’s also the perfect spot for wildlife viewing as this is where you’ll find the White Tailed Sea Eagle, red deer, otters, seals, whales, dolphins and more.
