Islas de Gigantes, a group of islands in the Western Visayas, lying along the Visayan Sea, is comprised of ten islands. The biggest of these are the Gigantes Norte and Gigantes Sur. Some of the minor islets include Gigantuna, Bantigui, Turnina, Tanguingui, Cabugao and Antonia. This island chain is a top attraction in Iloilo, which welcomes thousands of tourists every year.
Other points of interest include the Baktwitan Cave, Bantigue sandbar, Tangke and the North Gigantes Island Lighthouse. If you’re going to Iloilo for a vacation, you should not miss these beautiful islands.
