The Grand Canyon is one of Arizona’s most precious gems. This natural wonder attracts over a million visitors every year. This steep-sided canyon is located within the premises of the Grand Canyon National Park and also managed by the Kaibaba National Forest and The Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument.
Apart from being a nature’s gift, this is also a historic site. For centuries, Native Americans inhabited this place, and built settlements within the many cave systems of the canyon. In 1540, Spanish explorer Garcia Lopez de Cardenas first set foot in this place.
