Floating Market of Ratchaburi in Thailand

Floating Market of Ratchaburi in Thailand

There are many interesting sights in Thailand that you won’t get to see in any part of the world like this one-of-a-kind floating market in Ratchaburi. It’s not your usual market, obviously. Instead of stalls on land, the vendors are selling fruits, vegetables, and other goods on boats along the Mae Klong River, which is what flows through the central part of the town.

Ratchaburi, one of the Thailand’s central provinces, got its name from a term that means “land of the king”. It’s one of the most important towns during the period of Dvaravati.
