When planning for a vacation in Scotland, you must be very careful with your itinerary. You see, this country has countless of attractive sights that it can be overwhelming to decide which ones to see. You might end up seeing too many spots and rushing on your vacation.
One that you can’t afford to skip is the beautiful castle of Eilean Donan. This can be found in a small tidal island in the western highlands of the country. It was restored in the early 20th century, and during this time, a footbridge was constructed to connect the island to the mainland to make it easier for tourists to visit the place. It is a part of Scotland’s Kintail National Scenic Area.
