Thailand is so rich in culture and heritage that everywhere you look you’ll find a cultural or historic attraction that you’d be interested to get to know more about. The Dragon Stairs in Chiang Mai is one of its most popular cultural attractions that welcomes hundreds of visitors each day. The temple where the stairs are located is called “Doi Suthep” but this is actually the name of the mountain where the temple sits.

According to legends, the sacred site was constructed in 1383. And in 1935, the first road to the temple was built. Be sure to include this beautiful temple in your list of places to visit when you go to Thailand for a vacation.
