Detian Waterfall in China

Detian Waterfall in China

Also called Ban Gioc, Detian Falls in China refers to the two waterfalls straddling between the Vietnam and China border, flowing into the Quay Son River. This can be found smacked between the Karst Hills in Daxin County in the districts of Trung Khanh and Guangxi.

The drop of the waterfalls is at 30 meters or 98 feet. The thundering sound of water hitting the rocks is loud enough to be heard many miles from the falls. Next to Iguazu Falls, Victoria Falls and Niagara Falls, Ban Gioc is the fourth largest waterfall in the world that’s located on a national border.
