Sometimes, when you’re going on a vacation to a top travel destination, planning can be overwhelming as there are too many beautiful places to see. In Thailand, you’ll be astounded with the vast collection of temples and shrines that you can find here.
One that you should definitely include in your list is the Chanthaburi City Pillar Shrine which can be found along the Tha Luang Road in Mueang District in front of the Taksin Camp. Historical records don’t show a clear date when this was built, but it is believed that King Taksin was the one who ordered the construction of this place during his time. The shrine is open to the public everyday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
