Some of the natural attractions in some countries are so unbelievably beautiful that you’d almost think that they’re not real, that they’ve merely been “photoshopped” or manipulated digitally.
Caño Cristalis River in Colombia is one of these places. It’s extremely stunning that it’s sometimes hard to believe that this place actually exists. But it does! This river situated int he Serrania de la Macarena in the province of Meta is a tributary of the river of Guayabero. Locals call it the “liquid rainbow” or the “river of five colors” because of its striking shades of yellow, blue, green, red, and black.
